Recently, the "Rongshida Cup" Anhui Province 8th Industrial Design Competition Comprehensive Competition "Gold Award" and "Excellent Award", as well as the "Excellent Bid Unit Award" in the special competition, have all been awarded. Among them, Anhui Zhongke Zhonghuan Defense Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. won the "Excellent Award".


The 8th Anhui Industrial Design Competition "Rongshida Cup" is organized by the Anhui Industrial Design Industry Alliance. The theme of this competition is "Design makes life better", and it adopts a 1+X competition mode, which includes one comprehensive competition and X special competitions. A total of 649 products were collected from 382 companies in the comprehensive competition, representing an increase of nearly 20% in the number of participating companies compared to the previous edition; Setting a new record in history, it presents the characteristics of more works, wider coverage areas, and wider participation in industries, and has reserved a large number of original industrial design achievements for product transformation and improvement.
The product that Zhongke Zhonghuan won this award for is the "Fire Prevention and Control Product for Lithium ion Power Batteries (Boxes) for Electric Buses". A large number of tests have proven that this product can collect various characteristic parameters of lithium batteries in the early, middle, and later stages of thermal runaway, establish multi-dimensional logical relationships, monitor the safety status of battery boxes in real time, and quickly extinguish open flames after suppressing medium spraying. Within 30 minutes after extinguishing, there is no reignition phenomenon, effectively achieving cooling suppression of thermal runaway cells.

According to the report on the causes of electric vehicle fire accidents, the proportion of self ignition of power batteries is 31%, mainly due to the following three reasons:
1. During fast charging, lithium batteries with poor conductivity are prone to generating a large amount of heat, causing a rapid increase in temperature and leading to thermal runaway.
2. The spontaneous combustion of a car during charging may also be caused by improper operation by the owner.
3. External force collision causes deformation of lithium batteries, resulting in damage to internal components and short circuits between positive and negative electrodes.
The self ignition temperature caused by thermal runaway of power batteries can reach 1000 ℃, and a large amount of toxic gases will be released.
