Exemplary individual of teacher morality


According to the Notice on Selecting exemplary individual with Professional Ethics in the Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports System of Anhui Province (W.J.K.W.T.G. [2021] No. 39) issued by the Education, Science, Health and Sports Union of Anhui Province, Professor Sun Jinhua, the State Key Laboratory of Fire Science of China University of Science and Technology, won the honorary title of "exemplary individual with Professional Ethics" in the Education, Science, Culture and Health System of Anhui Province.




Professor Sun Jinhua has been engaged in educational work at Anhui University of Science and Technology and University of Science and Technology of China for more than 30 years, especially during his 20 years at the University of Science and Technology of China. He has always adhered to the school motto of "integrating red and professional knowledge, integrating theory and practice" and the concept of "learning from high standards as a teacher, and setting a good example with high moral standards", keeping in mind the Party's educational policy, improving his own moral literacy, and serving as a role model for others. Taking the undertaking of major national scientific and technological tasks as the starting point, we are committed to forging ahead, constantly innovating, and cultivating students' scientific research and innovation abilities. Actively improve teaching methods, enhance teaching quality, and cultivate students' ability to analyze and solve problems. Among the nearly 50 doctoral students trained by Professor Sun Jinhua (cooperative training), 2 have won the "Hundred Outstanding Doctoral Dissertations Award" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1 has won the "Best Doctoral Dissertation Award" of the International Society of Fire Sciences, 1 has won the Special Award of the President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and 7 have won the Excellent Award of the President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Among the more than 60 postdoctoral, doctoral, and master's degree holders who have entered the workforce, 2 have been selected for the "Ten Thousand Talents Plan" for leading talents in scientific and technological innovation, and the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project" for national talent programs four times; Five individuals were selected for the national "Four Young Talents" program seven times, and six individuals were awarded provincial and ministerial level talent programs such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences Young Talents Program and the Anhui Province "Special Support Program" Leading Talents Program ten times. Ten people have taken up management positions such as university science and technology department heads and vice presidents of secondary colleges, and nearly 20 have been promoted to full professors in universities and research institutes. The trained postdoctoral fellow Wen Hu and master's degree candidate Yin Caihong were respectively awarded the titles of National Outstanding Party Member for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and National Model Women. In addition, Professor Sun Jinhua has always insisted on treating students as his own children, making friends with them, and helping them solve practical difficulties during his decades of teaching.


Professor Sun Jinhua has won honors such as "Outstanding Graduate Supervisor" and "Zhu Liyuehua Outstanding Teacher Award" from the Chinese Academy of Sciences four times, and has also received awards such as the Wang Kuancheng Talent Cultivation Award and Yang Ya Education Award from the University of Science and Technology of China multiple times.






In the field of scientific research, Professor Sun Jinhua returned to China from Japan in 2002 and joined the Fire Laboratory of the University of Science and Technology of China to engage in safety research on lithium batteries. He led a team to focus on the safety of lithium batteries, from basic research and development to engineering applications, achieving full chain design and practical application in the entire process of production, education, research, and use. The relevant technological achievements have been widely applied in industries such as energy storage, new energy vehicles, and power, and have cooperated with Anhui Zhongke Zhonghuan Defense Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. to incubate a high-tech innovative enterprise - Anhui Zhongke Jiu'an New Energy Co., Ltd.






Zhongke Jiu'an and the State Key Laboratory of Fire Science jointly built a joint experimental base. Aiming at the industry's pain points, the self-developed program controlled "thermal runaway monitoring, early warning and protection system of electrochemical energy storage system" can use the organic combination of multi parameter coupling detection technology (temperature, smoke, characteristic gas, flame, etc.) and the thermal runaway prediction model of lithium-ion batteries to achieve accurate judgment and multi-level early warning of battery fires. In terms of fire protection, perfluorohexane fire extinguishing agent with high fire extinguishing efficiency, good insulation performance, and environmentally friendly cleanliness is used. Its unique point spraying technology can achieve rapid extinguishing and long-term suppression of thermal runaway batteries. This system utilizes the same pipeline and spray group, compatible with secondary water fire protection, and can achieve multi-level protection against fires in electrochemical energy storage power plants, greatly improving the safety protection capabilities of the electrochemical energy storage industry.





At present, the company has signed strategic cooperation agreements with leading enterprises in the energy storage industry such as State Grid, Pinggao Group, Sunshine Power, Dongfang Electric, and Yuanjing Energy, serving over 100 enterprises and institutions in the energy storage industry. The domestic market share of energy storage fire protection is over 30%, and the business covers more than 30 provinces, cities, and regions across the country; Against the backdrop of the rampant COVID-19 pandemic abroad and the significant impact on related industries in 2021, the company has made unremitting efforts to actively explore foreign markets and successfully implemented overseas Indonesian energy storage and fire protection projects, laying a solid foundation for future development in foreign markets.
