Recently, the 3rd Council of Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance was grandly held in Beijing, with 44 council representatives attending the meeting. Chen Haisheng, vice director of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, chairman of the Alliance, presided over the meeting.
Yu Zhenhua, Executive Vice Chairman of the Energy Storage Alliance, stated in his speech at the conference that the Alliance takes it as its responsibility to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the industry. In the face of the new situation, the Secretariat of the Alliance should adhere to a problem oriented and work focused approach, and specific work should focus on current industrial development.
Liu Wei, Secretary General of the Energy Storage Alliance, reported in detail to the members of the Council on the key work of the Alliance in 2019 from the aspects of promoting the energy storage market mechanism, industry research, technology exchange, alliance group standard construction, industry research, and alliance self construction. He also planned the important work and financial budget for 2020. In 2020, the alliance will take "solving common problems encountered in the process of industrial development and effectively promoting the commercial application of energy storage" as its work goal, and carry out specific work from three aspects: promoting the establishment of industrial mechanisms, exploring the energy storage application market, and enhancing the alliance's professional capabilities.
Guo Yukun, Executive Vice General Manager of Anhui Zhongke Zhonghuan Defense Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., suggested that the alliance take the lead in establishing an energy storage accident information database, establishing a long-term accident tracking mechanism, sharing accident information, and providing a data foundation for subsequent projects, technology research and development, and standard revision. The development of the industry requires a process, experiencing several ups and downs and presenting a tortuous upward trend. At the current stage, it is necessary to adjust the industry to a specific stage of development, which is more conducive to the long-term development of the industry.
The attending council representatives actively provided suggestions and recommendations regarding the above proposals and key tasks of the alliance. Some council members expressed that they will fully mobilize the advantageous resources of their respective units and collaborate with the alliance to carry out specific work in relevant fields.
