【Zhongke Zhonghuan】Public solicitation of opinions on the mandatory national standard for perfluorohexane fire extinguishing agent
Release Date:2020-03-06 Source: View count:427
Recently, the National Standards Committee has decided to publicly solicit opinions on 18 mandatory national standard projects, including "Perfluorohexane Fire Extinguishing Agent". The deadline for soliciting opinions is March 28, 2020.
With the increasingly strict restrictions on the use of traditional gas fire extinguishing agents such as Halon, Heptafluoropropane, and Hexafluoropropane, the environmentally friendly perfluorohexane fire extinguishing agent will be used more and more widely. Perfluorohexane, as an efficient and clean gas fire extinguishing agent, has been accepted, recognized, and widely used by international firefighting. It has the characteristics of low fire extinguishing concentration, high fire extinguishing efficiency, high safety factor, non-conductive, and no residue. It is suitable for fire places where other fire extinguishing agents are not suitable for extinguishing and where there cannot be significant secondary pollution after extinguishing.
Several domestic fluorine chemical enterprises have independently developed perfluorohexane fire extinguishing agent products. The production raw materials, reaction routes, production processes, and product performance of different enterprises are not the same, and there is no unified national or industry standard. Therefore, the establishment of a unified and mandatory national standard for perfluorohexane fire extinguishing agent is conducive to regulating product production and quality control, improving product quality, enabling the product to play a practical role in fire extinguishing, and ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
With the establishment of unified mandatory national standards for perfluorohexane fire extinguishing agents, the development of perfluorohexane fire extinguishing equipment and systems has also been put on the agenda. Anhui Zhongke Zhonghuan Defense Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. has developed a lithium-ion power battery (box) fire prevention and control device through market research, technical accumulation, and continuous experimental verification. The fire extinguishing agent used in this device is perfluorohexane. Compared with traditional battery fire prevention and control devices, this device has the characteristics of non pressure storage, multiple point spraying, efficient fire extinguishing, precise location, safety and environmental protection. It has also obtained the "Type Inspection Report" of the National Fixed Fire Extinguishing System and Refractory Component Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for the first time.
The Zhongke Zhonghuan lithium-ion power battery (box) fire prevention and control device (perfluorohexane) is not only used in new energy vehicles, but also widely applied in various scenarios such as electrochemical energy storage, power grid side, electrical fire extinguishing, and new energy ships after further expansion of technology and products.
