【Zhongke Zhonghuan】Energy storage safety, who will protect it?
Release Date:2020-03-27 Source: View count:283
With the rise of 5G technology, the energy storage market around the world is rapidly heating up, and energy storage related infrastructure is being built one after another. However, there are numerous safety hazards behind the infrastructure, which may even lead to major fire accidents. Such as the battery energy storage explosion in Arizona, USA, and 21 fire accidents at energy storage power plants in South Korea in a year. In China, since the release of the 13th Five Year Plan, various local government departments have introduced numerous policies targeting the energy storage industry. The energy storage industry has developed rapidly under the promotion of intensive policies, but the issue of energy storage safety has been constantly concerned and has become a controversial focus within the energy storage circle.
Anhui Zhongke Zhonghuan Defense Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. has devoted itself to the development of the "Electrochemical Energy Storage System Thermal Loss Monitoring and Warning and Protection System" to address this focal issue. The system uses composite detection sensors (temperature, smoke, characteristic gases, humidity, visible light) to detect fires in electrochemical energy storage power stations at different stages from multiple angles, and different levels of fire protection measures are selected for different hazard levels. The system has the characteristics of precise detection, efficient protection, continuous suppression, and environmental friendliness, which can effectively safeguard the safety of energy storage equipment. And the equipment has been applied to well-known enterprises in the industry such as Dongfang Electric, EVE Energy, Southern Power Grid, and Electric Power Research Institute.
At present, this system can be widely used in container electrochemical energy storage systems, building electrochemical energy storage systems, UPS power storage systems for communication towers/stations, industrial UPS power systems, ship power electrochemical energy storage systems, special lithium electric vehicles (including engineering vehicles and new energy passenger vehicles) and other scenarios.
