On August 27, 2020, the opening ceremony of the Energy Storage International Summit and the award ceremony of the International Energy Storage Innovation Competition were held in Beijing. Thus, the final of the 4th International Energy Storage Innovation Competition, hosted by the International Energy Storage Technology and Industry Alliance and co organized by the Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance, came to a successful conclusion. Through preliminary selection by the organizing committee, online voting, and on-site final evaluation, Anhui Zhongke Zhonghuan Defense Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. won the "2020 Energy Storage Technology Innovation Model TOP10" award for its outstanding performance in the field of energy storage technology innovation over the past year




The thermal runaway warning and prevention system of the electrochemical energy storage power station that won this award is equipped with a comprehensive monitoring module for independent battery clusters to detect changes in carbon monoxide concentration in the early stages of battery thermal runaway. An alarm message is issued in the early stages of battery thermal runaway to guide the complete flooding and injection of perfluorohexane, providing safety protection for the battery clusters.


The joint development of the electrochemical energy storage power plant thermal runaway warning and prevention system by the Key Laboratory of Zhongke Zhonghuan has the following advantages:
